UC Berkeley ACT and SAT scores

Hi,

I read that UCB does not superscore SAT and my SAT score in 1 sitting isn’t great (1980). I’ll be taking the ACT in December. If I do better in the ACT, can I just send that and not the SAT? Is it compulsory to send all scores? Thanks in advance!

UCB will take the highest SAT or ACT score from a single sitting. If you do better on the ACT, then you can only send the ACT to UCB. If you decide to send the SAT scores, you will need to send all scores and UCB will take the highest.
