UC Berkeley and LA: Getting B's in classes

<p>I heard that UCLA and UC Berkeley are the harder UC schools. If you get about a total of 7- 10 B's throughout your junior and senior year of high school, will it affect your chances of getting in and what if they are AP classes? What if your weighted GPA ends up being 4.0001 or something anyways, but you got B's in every AP class?</p>

<p>Also, does it look bad to get a B in certain AP classes? For example, if you were to get a B in AP Environmental Science as opposed to AP Bio?</p>

<p>Yes. Grades of B affect your chance of getting into the top public CA schools. The acceptance is still based on the numbers - UC GPA.</p>
