<p>I got an email on dec 15 and 16 from 2 out of the 3 UCs I applied to saying that they received my application... but i still haven't gotten one from berkeley. Anyone know anything about this?</p>

<p>Son received one on Jan 11, 2011. I suspect that UC Berkeley does like most colleges would… they cherry pick. If you fall into a certain percentage of applicants, they present you with a letter that they are interested in you. Doesn’t mean you will get accepted… just means that you more than passed the first rounds of cuts. </p>
<p>My son has already been accepted to CSU Chico… I’m sure for the same reasons.</p>
<p>And to UC Davis for the same.</p>
<p>Just wait patiently, and don’t let those that have received notices bother you… you will know for sure by the end of March.</p>
