UC Berkeley Assist Issue

Hey all,

I’m hoping someone can solve this problem for me. I’ve been wanting to transfer to Berkeley in the fall of 2016 for psychology for two years now and have been working to finish all the requirements (as according to assist.org) in that time. Unfortunately, I noticed last week that the new 2015-2016 Assist agreement is out, and that got rid of my current biological anthropology class that used to be under the now-extinct evolution requirement. Instead, a linguistics class has popped up under the social science section to take instead. I can drop the bio anthro class and take a short-term linguistics class if I need to follow the new agreement, or keep the bio anthro class and forget the linguistics class if it’s the previous agreement that I need to follow. I started college during the 2013-2014 year, if that helps.

Short version: what version of the assist.org agreement am I supposed to be following? D:

The Berkeley psychology department changed its lower division prerequisites recently, though the change may not have propogated to ASSIST in time for the 2014-2015 listings (so the 2015-2016 listings are the first ones with the new prerequisites). It is best to follow the new prerequisites which apply to transfers starting fall 2015.

Thank you for the information. My gut told me to follow the newest version.
