So what are my chances for UC Berkeley? What are my match schools?

In state, you have a chance. Even out of state, you do, I think.
I know this guy who lived in california,
and got in with old SAT 1200 and a AP Physics 2

When I say nationally ranked, I mean from that one Newsweek Top US Schools special issue. I go to Tesoro High School, which was ranked something like #134.

those rankings are totally wack.
"Public schools are ranked according to a ratio devised by Jay Mathews: the number of Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate tests taken by all students at a school in 2004 divided by the number of graduating seniors. "
So basically a school with entirely "not so smart" people can just buy like 3 ap tests for each student and it will be #1 in the nation by a long shot.
it doesn't even consider the score each person gets. its basically quantity over quality. seriuosly.

then you must know about university high school, obviously
i think that school outdoes yours though... right?
no offense though, just the things i hear coming out from university from my friend, it's just frightening. sends a shiver down my spine.

Well yeah... University and Troy beat us, they're the next top 2 in California. But... Troy is a magnet school and.... Univsersity is like... really asian. Good ol Tesoro is like 3% Asian 85% White 11% Hispanic, 1% other. So... it makes sense... not to be racist or anything. It's just the education culture.
