UC Berkeley Class of '13 thread. Any topic :)

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>I'm a 23 y.o. female, transfer student from LA who wants the class of 2013 to share their experiences/plans/educational goals here, in this thread.</p>

<p>Where are you from?
What do you plan to major in?
Grad school plans?
Where will you live?
Are you bringing your car? where will you park it?</p>

<p>Any other questions/answers are welcome!</p>

<p>Congrats on the admission to the BEST PUBLIC SCHOOL IN THE WORLD!</p>

<p>GO BEARS!!!</p>

<p>I live about an hour away from berk.
I’m a history major with no idea of what kind of grad school to attend…
Hopefully I’ll live in Wada
I’m renting a private spot!</p>

<p>Where do you plan to live? And park? and what’s you major? lol basically, what are your answers to those questions?</p>

<p>I’m going to my last community college final in about 2 hours aaaahhhhhhh. and congrats to you too :D</p>

<p>oh my bad :)</p>

<p>I’m originally from Ukraine, but lived in Los Angeles, CA for the past 4 years.
Attended West LA College, and took a few classes at ELAC and Pierce College.
I was admitted to the College of L&S (applied to Legal Studies major), but will most likely try to petition for Poli Sci (or double major with LS)
Plan to go to Law School afterwards.
Right now I’m on military training in San Antonio, Texas until Sept 13, 2011. I’m a Navy Reservist. BTW, had to defer my Fall 11 admission to Spring because of the considerable overlap with the instruction at Cal :(</p>

<p>I wanna live on campus during my first (Spring) semester, then rent with friends that I will meet during Spring.
I have a car, which I don’t know how and where I will park. I don’t want to sell it thou.</p>

<p>I was born and raised in LA but moved up to Oakland 3 years ago in a gamble to transfer into Berkeley. 2nd time’s a charm I guess, haha.<br>
Since I’m close, I’m just going to bike and BART to class to give my car a break.<br>
I’m an EECS major and I plan on going for my masters but don’t know if I’ll go directly after undergrad.</p>

<p>Good luck redo on your final and congrats SmartPants!</p>

<p>I think we should get some of the over 21 CC transfers and go to Jupiters before instruction starts and celebrate, haha :)</p>

<p>Whassss up
I’m 20 y/o dude from beautiful Huntington Beach majoring in history.
I have no idea about grad school right now, honestly I’m just excited as hell that I got into CAL and am still riding that high :). My car will be staying home unfortunately  and it looks like I’ll be living in a Clark Kerr triple (if I can’t get out). Other than than GO BEARS!
Anyone else from the OC on here?</p>

<p>Hey hey</p>

<p>From Boston, MA but I have been living in San Diego the past 5 years. I attended SDCC and I am an Anthropology Major.</p>

<p>I am looking for an apartment in Berkeley or Oakland (or wherever has easy access to campus). I commuted by bus for my 3 years at CC, and I ****ING HATED IT! So I want to live either as close as possible, or have a direct and short bus route to campus. </p>

<p>I have only been up there a few times, so if anyone familiar with the areas of Berk and Oakland can tell what areas to look for and where to avoid that would be cool.</p>

<p>I am also in the 21+ group and I am all about going out for drinks before classes start (or after!)</p>

<p>Where are you from?
I’m a 26 year old from Los Angeles. I’ve been a shoe salesman, a busser, a car alarm tech, a car salesman, and now future economist. It’s been quite an adventure.
What do you plan to major in?
Economics
Grad school plans?
I either want to get an MBA or continue with Economics. It depends on the what opportunities I encounter when the time comes.
Where will you live?
Unit 2 in a triple. or a co-op if I can get into one.
Are you bringing your car? where will you park it?
After heavy research I have decided to leave my car at home. It’s going to be weird not driving after 10 years of driving lol.</p>
