@imvegetarian2016 you have three options. You can study abroad for a semester in fall and then come back in January, start spring semester and do something else til then, or you can do FPF and take smaller classes focusing on your seven course breadth stuff and then be like a regular student in the spring. I think they do it to avoid further impacting classes

for people who opted in for waitlist when did it say your opt in was submitted? although the due date was 4/18 and that is when i submitted mine, it says it was submitted 4/19/2016! is it like that for you guys too? or did I submit it too late? ):

Nothing worse than watching person after person get in while you’re left with absolutely nothing. I don’t think they’re taking anyone else after this, especially given that housing is supposed to be almost full already.

I just got into Berkeley today!! At the Letter of Sciences! Does anyone know when the SIR deadline is because it doesn’t say.
@judgefudge my son submitted his waitlist statement on the evening of the deadline, but once he submitted it, it showed the date 4/19. He was accepted today in L & S!

Well I guess this means I was rejected.
@sloppychair I believe it has been civil engineering acceptances only I am mechanical so we are in the same boat

@seditiousseals I doubt waitlist acceptances are over, considering literally nobody has been accepted from OOS yet (especially from CC, and that says something), and the fact that someone on this thread called and was told that more acceptances were coming out later this week. Have hope!
