@1337MOM You are not comparing like with like, Cal will admit 2000 out of 89,000 freshman applicants today. That is the % to compare with USC’s 1250 out of 39,000. Which is the stronger set of candidates can be debated: for USC it’s just the early applicants (those seeking merit) not the full pool as is the case for Cal.
Has anyone received an email? Or did people just check their portals?
I got in.
I got in!!
to the people getting in, what are your stats?
What are your stats for those who got in?
My dd got into College of Letters and Science, but there is no mention of Regents scholarship. Are Regents only for Engeering?
Nothing happened. Congrats to those received early acceptance today!!!
Did you apply to the Global Management Program?
Berkeley '22!!!
Oops. I meant Engineering. Did anyone from Letters and Science get Regents invite?
Applied for M.E.T. (EECS and Business program offered by Engineering+Haas). 36 ACT. More than a dozen AP exams with 5’s. Practically no business experience, but a heavy interest in engineering. No hooks or anything like that (male, caucasian/asian in STEM).
It was probably my essays, I really don’t think stats mean that much. Congratulations to those who got in! I might see you guys soon. For those who didn’t get the invite, it’s just an invite to interview, and almost everyone finds out in March! You can do it!
Yes, I received an invite and am in L and S.
I got in!! Applied MET but got rejected, so I’m in regular EECS. I couldn’t be happier, though! My stats are 4.00 UW GPA (I don’t know my GPA as calculated by UC), and 1500 on the SAT. Lots of extracurriculars and I did an internship with NASA last summer.
Congrats to everyone who got in! And if you didn’t get anything today, don’t lose hope! There’s always the regular deadline in March.
I got in to letters and science! Does anyone know why the decision is out so early?
Are you in northern or southern California?
How do you see if you got it? Is it under status update in MAP@Berkeley?
Did all of you accepted get an email or just checked portal? Also how many of you got LORs after applying ?
Congrats to all of you btw
@StevenToCollege Nope! I only did the Pre-Haas option on the application so I was accepted to the College of Letters and Science.
