@sastronaut If you’re an International Student, don’t worry! It seems like it’s only for people who are U.S citizens and have applied for Financial aid… so if you are International, it’s not directed towards you.

They’re not, all of them received it at 3:07 AM PST in their local time.
I’m instate. I think if you didn’t get the email you still have a chance because I doubt this was supposed to happen…
It’s personalized with my name and if it was wrong they would send an apology email by now right?
I guess only instate students received it?

A giant mistake is what happened. I’m wondering if they initially were going to release on Friday 3/23…then it would make sense for the financial aid email to come a couple days later??? I don’t know I’m guessing. Huge error. But I do think they are real and legit

No, a LOT of people received this. There are a lot more on the a2c reddit. Out of state have received it as well - going from what a few people commented. Only intl did not receive this. What I think it is is that at this point, only people who didn’t apply for aid and / or are intl have a chance now.

@Abelo999 I am a resident but I’m going to school in Bangladesh. I didn’t know whether I’ll be considered an international student or a local student, but I didn’t apply for finaid.

didn’t get the email. not surprised though. really unimpressed with the “accidental” early releases by UCD, UCB, and apparently UCB this year…causes even more stress than was necessary for all involved. Way to go, UCs!
