yes i did it @Mike8899
@Mike8899 i was in a similar situation, and i didn’t enter grades. i think if they REALLY needed them they would’ve required the grades.
^Anyone else know, Submit/no submit…Also, did anyone have else have the problem where it only gives six class options but I am taking 7 classes, so not sure what todo
@Mike8899 i submitted mine at 10 pm and i got april 19 as the date. anyone else got this?
My daughter submitted hers last night as well. When she submitted it, the portal showed it was submitted on 4/18. This morning, it says 4/19
Just spoke with the admissions office. Apparently there is an issue with their system. The lady said that as long as the statement was submitted before the deadline and it shows as received with green check-mark (even with today’s date of 4/19), we are fine. If it was submitted before the deadline but does not show as received, there is another issue and those applicants need to contact the admissions office.
@chicalmom @Mike8899 did anyone submit a transcript or just self report their grades?
My daughter uploaded her fall report card and self-reported, because we couldn’t access her unofficial transcript.
@chicalmom fall report card would mean the same thing as what she wrote on the UC app right ? He 9-11
Yes, because we are on the semester system and do not have “winter” grades.
Actually, on the original UC application we only listed the courses being taken senior year. So since we never got a request for additional documents during the initial process, this is the first time the school will see my daughter’s 7th semester (Fall) grades. Just wanted to clarify.
Do any of you ever wonder if it they accept off of the waitlist by who submitted their opt in form first? When did you all submit yours? Also…a call to admissions office today for something different but happened to ask when decisions might be expected out and was told “first week of May” with no hesitation. Is that a good sign or bad sign that they seem to know already?
Has anyone received offers from UCSC and UCR to apply? I’ve heard of many waitlisted people getting these emails. Do you think that if we received those emails, we have a lesser chance of getting of waitlist?
@arcticfox321 It was my understanding that UC schools handle attendance separately, meaning they do not share information. In that case I would think there should be no correlation between the two.
@arcticfox321 maybe they are ELC students that did not get accepted to another UC? I know in the past if you are one of those students and don’t get into a UC, UC Merced usually contacts you offering you a spot.
