I have a question. Why would it be unauthorized to withdraw if you are rejected?
did any1’s withdraw message switch from “to withdraw my application from further consideration” to “not coming” today. looks like the former is the default for the site
bc if u were rejected there would be no reason to be able to withdraw

The “supposed” waitlist option has always been available to applicants. It’s possible that those portals haven’t been updated yet, or, get this, it doesn’t mean anything! Please stop spreading stressful rumors. We will know soon what the decisions are

None of the portal astrology that I have seen yet has been correct including UCSD. But I am pretty sure this is correct.

I didnt ask change, I was very specific about it switching from one to another.
if it is stressful for people, they can just ignore it. We are just talking and analyzing this interesting phenomena which is really rare at UCs
