got the rejection on appeal just now.
So did Berkeley accepted any in-state freshman off the waitlist this year?
Just got email saying it was full. LA here I come!

I was for L&S CS
Rejected. Anyway we are good with UCI. My D chose public health and was waitlisted. The UCB admission letās you in for undergrad and then you need to apply again to public health in 2 years. Instead in UCI you are in for 4 years. No more reapplying in 2 years.

We still donāt see an update. Was it an email? Portal looks the same.

Do the decisions come out in batches? Iām confused seeing people say they heard back from Berkeley; Mines still says last updated in march 24

Son rejected - somewhat sad, but not unexpected given how late in the summer it is. Already committed and well into the orientation coursework at UCSC.
