<p>I have heard that the SAT subject tests in math II and a science are very important for applying to this school, but does anyone have rough numbers of what admitted students score?

<p>There is nothing to validly gauge the issue anymore. Beginning this year, the UCs are dropping the requirement to submit two SAT subject tests. For engineering, they will recommend, but not require, math 2 and a science and high scores can obviously help but it is not known what weight they will actually be given under the new system since the new mandate requires them to seriously consider admitting those who submit no SAT IIs.</p>
<p>For unhooked applicants, you should assume 700’s for Math 2 and a physical science. For hooked candidates, and OOS, the numbers can be lower. But as with any number, higher is always better!</p>
