Just got my semester one final grades. I took 7 classes in total (6 are ap/honors).

B

B

B

C

A

A

C

This is a 3.0 unweighted, but are 2 C grades excessive? I know UCLA allows 1 C only.

If you got into Berkeley recently, could you please post the contract/conditions of admittance? Thanks.

Well for admission for Fall 2012 it was at least 3.0 unweighted GPA per semester, with no more than 2 C’s.

I do not know if this has changed.

How do you “know” UCLA only allows one C? Where did you get that information?

From UCLA’s contract of admission: You must notify our office if, in your senior year, you receive two or more C grades.

For Berkeley, is that 2 C’s per semester or 2 C’s overall (both semesters). Thanks.

Yes, I was wondering also since I also received a C this semester.
