Anyone know what time decisions will be out? Is it Pacific Time?

ilivefree… i have the same problem…i get carded everywhere i go (except the Bear’s Lair & that’s only because they know me in there) & i’m a bit older than you… i guess i need to take it as a compliment but i have left my id at home a couple of times & couldn’t order a drink, that’s when it gets kinda irritating

btw…i noticed your location is in Albany, you probably already know this but we have Berkeley student housing located in Albany

luvtoolearn- thats correct. for those who are interested in the albany housing its called “albany village” i play bball at the courts all the time. very clean area. and if im not mistaking i have seen a cal bus stop in front of Marin Ave.

heres the google maps: <a href=“Google Maps”>Google Maps;

kindergarten in 95? wow… no comment. :)

and blondies to celebrate? I AM SO DOWN, but la val’s would hold more of us.

i hear you, luvtoolearn… and i know there is a berkeley housing center here, but you all don’t take dogs. i have a 100lb. dog, a cat, a wife (she’s not a pet), and two bunnies, oh, and about 20 stick bugs.

so, we’re renting in albany and we love it. i’ve been there almost 4 years. thanks for the advisement though!

Blake’s…lololol…they thought I was 21 and I was only 18, my stupid friend yelled out “SHE’S ONLY 18” and they put on the different wrist thingy…I was beyond ****ed, lol.

This is getting really bad for me. I couldn’t sleep at all yesterday. Would wake up in the middle night with my heart pounding. AHHH! By the time I get back home on Thursday, I won’t want to check…I’ll just be excited for you all who got in…x__x;;

how come no one talks about bear’s lair?

ilivefree…yeah…that would be a problem…you prol could get away w/ the cat, bunnies & even the stick bugs unofficially, even though they are not allowed but people have them anyway…but the 100lb dog would prol be noticed…i’m glad you found a place to rent in Albany, it’s really expensive for housing in Albany so if you have a place that is reasonable then that’s great.

Baller… you are right…the 52L comes through here at several stops w/in the complex & goes directly to campus (it’s free for students) I like the fact that we only pay rent & nothing else (everything else is free…cable, utilities, internet, parking) so it’s a pretty good deal

Has anyone else noticed on the My Berkeley App a change in their name? My name went from all lowercase, except for the beginning letter, to all uppercase now, and now “they” include my middle name.

I’m a 30 year old student. My wife actually works for the Haas, but that doesn’t help, obviously, since legacy or anything else means shiat, which–in my opinion–is awesome.

We moved our house to California once she got the job, but I’m still outside of Seattle waiting to see what happens, while at the same time, remodeling our house and working.

Too much is riding on this, since, now, she’s preggers. I’m freakin’ out. A nervous breakdown may be imminent…

^
Uhh…

Refer to my lame thread. It still should be on the first page, LOL.

It probably doesn’t mean anything.

I might be wrong but it does help. She’s an employee at the University which is an extra + for you. But then again, I might be wrong.

ugh you guys are SO SO lucky you’re getting responses by Thursday. I hate being a freshman!

^
We waited years for this. It’s about TIME. Hahaha! [:

That’s not true about Boalt (Cal law). The highest majority that attends Boalt did their undergrad at Cal.

Your boyfriend is probably wrong about UCLA too. That is a common urban myth.

That made me laugh. I remember last year when UCLA decisions came out a lot of people were like “wooo **** Cal, UCLA ftw!” and then Cal decisions came out and almost everyone who got into both went to Cal. Probably not a whole lot different this year.

^^ i agree. just wait til cal decisions come out and then see what everyone will be saying

Come on Berkeley! Give it to me.

luvtolearn… yep, we rent a house with a yard for 1375. it’s tiny, especially with such a massive dog, but we’re happy. heck, maybe one day we can actually buy this place!

yeah right, we don’t have a first born son to pawn.

anyway all, i’m as excited about everyone else to hear from cal. i mean seriously, i actually saw “the play” and have been going to cal games since i was 3. not that that means much, but, well, i’ve got SERIOUS spirit and i don’t even go there!

and regarding the part about an employee at berkeley, and does that help? pretty sure not. i am ashamed to admit, but i pulled the legacy card on cal a year ago to see if i could be considered as a sophomore transfer (my family has given a ridiculous amount of dough to cal). the woman in admissions left me a very nice voicemail that while they deeply appreciate my family’s contribution to the university, because they are a public institution, they can not consider such things for admission decisions.

so, pretty sure your wife’s employment won’t help, officially at least. i left my family info out of my app. this time.

^I would have still put it in…don’t see why it would hurt you…

everyone: today is Wednesday. only one more day, the decision will be out. it is almost there. the life and the future are almost there. YEAH!!!

^ ahhhh this is so scary I’m going to get rejected I know it! erghgh
