Accepted! Does anyone else know if it’s true that regent scholarships come out in May for transfer?

@tsun23 You might need to take an additional classes at UCB if you want to choose other majors, which will be very hard… Prob…

“Candidates are selected from the top applicants to UC Berkeley though a holistic review process determined by the Academic Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Honors, and Financial Aid.

Faculty interviews and scholarship consideration for freshman candidates takes place in early March.

Notifications of scholarship awarding decisions are sent to freshman candidates at the end of March.

Advanced standing (transfer) candidates are considered for the award in early May via admissions file review by the Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Honors, and Financial Aid.

guys should I waitlist for poli econ at berkeley or should I just go for the UMich econ

I get admitted for spring 2020 for UCB. Is that means I have to stay in CC until 2020 spring? I am so confused but sosososooso happy I am crying for my first offer

Major preps: Did more than required
EC: 20 hours/ week, student government, volunteer at a local crisis center,
paid tutoring position at CC, volunteer tutor at a local learning center
