Today’s the day! Best wishes to all applicants on here!! I’m rooting for you all.
i’m so nervous I literally feel nauseous.
@rt0784 Same here… Good luck, today.
Good luck everyone! Fingers crossed that things work out today. You’re all strong students regardless of the outcome. If things don’t go the way you had hoped for, there may be greater things to come at another institution or at another time, and it in no way invalidates your self-worth or your efforts. Best of luck
@jaescott thanks, you too!
I can’t sleep due to nerves but quarantine’s also out here messing up sleep schedules. Figured I’d post stats before the decision release. Wish everyone luck!

i AM SO nervous omg
@PotatoChipss i don’t think that transferring out of UCR will put you at a disadvantage. You seem like a promising candidate and your extracurricular are great! Good luck!
Good luck everyone!!!
I was able to get regents at UCSC and UCD, but Berekley is my top choice so I hope I can somehow get regents there too. It’d be a dream come true ?
Here’s to applying to one of the most selective majors at one of the most selective schools!
Extracurriculars: None besides some at-home projects.
Personal Statement: Mediocre at best.
Intended Major: Computer Science
GPA: 4.0
School Type: CCC
Gender: Vietnamese Male
Strengths: My GPA is pretty neat.
Weaknesses: Lack of ECs.
Applying to what schools?
UCB, UCSD, UCI, UCR, UCSB
Transferring UC to UC automatically puts you at a disadvantage as UC’s put priority for CCC transfer students before other four years
Good luck to you all! Please keep in mind no matter the decision you’re all capable of great success regardless of what school you attend. ?
Good luck everybody!!
Good lucky everyone! Remember that regardless of the outcome, you’ll end up at the school that you’re meant to be at. I’m sure many of you have already been accepted into great schools, so a rejection isn’t the end.
I have a question… I am applying for chemical biology from a CSU with a 3.75 gpa which I don’t think is very high but also isn’t too low. However, I will have only completed one semester of organic chemistry by spring and I have not taken multivariable calculus. Do you think these missing prereqs will be the reason I do not receive admission?
Good luck everyone!!
Trying to stay positive and hopeful during these hours, lol! Remember, Berkeley is one of if not the hardest public university to get into. You all are amazing unique people that deserve a quality education, wherever that may be.
Be proud that you even put yourself out there and applied to Berkeley in the first place. Having that courage bodes well for all of your futures~
Good Luck!
@sadgal , missing prereqs will for sure put you at a disadvantage. And CCC applicants take priority over CSU applicants. Even perfect-seeming students don’t get in to CAl. However, ya never know what might stand out to them to say you’re a good fit.
Good luck!
Wow, the wait is almost over! Good Luck everyone!
