So I only saw one post about regents… is that it? Anyone else get it or are we unsure if that post was legit? Seems like there should be a few people based on previous years.
I’ve been wondering the same thing, especially since I strongly doubted the single person who posted they received regents based on their extremely sub-par stats. At the same time though, it would seem highly unlikely for them to have not released by now, so I have no idea.
I know several transfers who were notified via email last Wednesday
Those of you who got in as an EECS major, would you mind sharing what GPA you got, and what you wrote about in your essay?
I am worried because my GPA is 3.8-3.9
Hi! I need to decline my offer of admission but there’s no option to on Calcentral. Should I just not respond and that will count as a decline?
Check the Map@Berkeley portal, there should be an option to withdraw your application in the bottom left corner.
Thank you! Is that the best option, there aren’t any consequences?
I’m not sure. Are you still trying to submit your SIR to another school? There is also the option to defer and start at a future semester without having to reapply and go through the admission process again.
Yes, I already submitted my SIR to another school. Does that change anything?
I don’t think so, there might be some cancellation fee, or maybe you can’t get your deposit back.
Has anyone seen the Golden Bear Advising task in their CalCentral? I haven’t but I think it’s supposed to appear on June 16th. Can anyone confirm that?
@urbanvoter It started for the freshmen yesterday, but transfers won’t be able to do it until the 16th
@heyigotnoclue not yet
As it was explained to me, the department decides who to award it to; which would make sense why someone in Poli Sci who wants to go to grad school would receive it over someone who would wants to go to law school. If you want to DM me, idk how to DM on here, I can show you the letter.
I applied as a cs major and I got into college of letters and science.
My gpa is 3.66. I guess my ecs and essays were good.

omg tbh I had no idea I had a chance since I was applying applied math with a 3.60 gpa, but I had all major requirements and GEs done and spent a lot of time on my essays and ECs. Happy for all who got in, and for those who didn’t, this is of no indication of your intelligence or hard work.Admitted: UCR (CS), UCSC (CS), UCI (math, TAG), UCB (applied math)
Waitlisted: UCD (CS)
Pending: UCSD (Math+CS), UCSB (Math), UCLA (math of computation), Cornell, UW

@mydilemma Hi there. Are you apply this Fall to begin Fall 2021? Or did you already apply in order to attend this Fall? If you already applied, you should’ve already received your decision. Am I misunderstanding you?
@“jesse’sgirl”
Hi! Thank you so much for responding! I am applying for Fall 2021. I said “this year” bc im applying in Nov. of 2020 haha
This may be too personal, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what their financial aid package looks like? I’m on the waitlist and I just want to get an idea of what mine will be if I get accepted. I know everyones is different but I come from a low income family and if anyone here does too maybe our financial aid is similar. So I would appreciate if anyone could let me know.
thanks
