Ethnicity: White
GPA (still in progress): 2.9

Don't have any EC's currently.
Didn't take SAT yet.

I really want to get into this school, but unfortunately, I have 4 C's in my beginning years at my community college because I was not mentally prepared. Now, I am taking things seriously and I have all A's in my semester. I don't have much to show for high school, because I was born with several disabilities, including deafness (from birth to age 5) and HFA (high-functioning Autism). I was in special needs for the first half of my life, so that really slowed me down. I was home schooled for all of high school because I was picked on and bullied in high school, so I didn't get a quality education then. I really have dreams and hopes of getting into UC Berkeley or Stanford. I am working very, very, VERY hard right now and I am actually considered very intelligent by many people, especially for my circumstances. I am only concerned because of the 4 C grades I got in my first year of Community College.

If I was to do the SAT, get all A's from now until next year, and do some extra curricular activities, how likely will I get accepted into UC Berkeley, given my circumstances?

I really want to get in. Plus, I am not done with my years yet. After I get out of CC, then my GPA should be close to around 3.5. Plus, I am someone with medical records that can prove that I am disabled as well. Do you think that with a 3.5 GPA, a good application, some EC’s, and a medical record proving that I am disabled can give me the edge?

^that statement is very wrong in many ways.
We all know that you want to get in, but your desire itself isnt the one that gets you in. with 3.5gpa, it might be hard to get in unless you have an amazing EC going on.
As of right now, UC berkeley is a high reach for you.

Masterchief: Berkeley rejects even perfect scores and GPA’s; you’ve asked for opinions but you don’t like the reality that people are trying to help you here. No need to be so nasty because they are telling you true opinions. I agree with @kimdy and @Yeezy who are only trying to be real. That attitude is going to hinder you forever. I know and have worked with wonderful DHH students who have wonderful attitudes; no need to be so mean.

I understand that you’re a hard worker, but it might be healthy for you to lower your expectations…trust me, being racist won’t help you out in applying for colleges.
