@CCCtransfah Your math skills are obviously why you got in. lol
@Ucbound2016 That was there the whole time, unless they changed some things around in it.

@Ucbound2016 yeah those were there the whole time for me as well
I got the same ‘Update to your Conditions’ letter but my conditions are the same…?
I SIRd yesterday and a bunch of the updates I couldn’t see came in, but no Calnet access yet. I’ll keep checking the page.
Have you guys registered for CalSo yet? I’m going on the 20th. I decided not to take the Pre-Core classes. I’ve been working at an insane clip these past two years (FT work and FT school). I need to take a trip and relax a bit before starting a program as intense as Haas.
I registered for the 20th as well @Wadadli , I’ll see you there! And I know what you’re saying, I feel I may be better mentally prepared if I took a trip and relaxed instead of taking the pre core classes.
@MikeSauce wow I am really disappointed with the system currently. I am still debating on Haas or UCSD’s management science program. It seems all the information about haas comes after you SIR… Which I can’t do yet because I am still considering UCSD.
Why are you guys for sure choosing haas? I know it’s the best of the best, but it seems like a pretty basic " general management" program. I am still sooooo happy I’m admitted and that’s a huge reason why I would go there.
Haas was the only business admin program I applied for, besides Cal Poly. All the other UCs I applied for were some variation of economics, which I don’t care for. Had I not gotten into Haas I would have gone to Cal Poly.
Your experience at Haas can be pretty basic, or you can really push yourself with a lot of not very basic classes at Haas, taught by some of the best professionals in the industry. I think it’s whatever you make of it … but the instructors are incredible, the program is small, they have great resources, etc … and obviously the prestige of Haas / Berkeley, the network it provides, and the doors it can open can’t be understated.
@briank82 summed up my feelings pretty well. I also like that the coursework covers a lot of what an MBA would cover, since I would prefer to study Finance at the Master’s level.
@missnewbooty95 I suppose there are a lot of reasons for me personally, its not all abut prestige tho, Im choosing Haas over Penn and Cornell, #humblebrag, you have to ask yourself whats best for you.
Does our GPA transfer over to Berk?
No
That is interesting.
Hi, @MikeSauce . I just signed up an account cuz i really need to know if you guys have problems submitting the new student form which is due by June 3rd. It kept saying error " Server Error in ‘/’ application. String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated." Let me know if you guys got the same problems or is it just me . Super nerve wrecking cuz its due soon.
I can log in the website, but i can’t submit my new student forms. @briank82
@bermudamoon email Sojourner Blair and she’ll help you. Let her know your problem and give detailed info and a screenshot of the error you’re receiving.
Anyone else in here doing PreCore? Seems to be pretty advantageous. If nothing else, it knocks out 6 units right off the bat that you won’t have to worry about during normal semesters when you need to focus on core classes.
Thanks @briank82 I already emailed her yesterday. Waiting for her response this weekend, hopefully she replies.
She was pretty diligent with a few issues I had. In sure she’ll get back soon.
@briank82 I decided to do PreCore as I think it will really aid in the transition.
