@Ohm888 Not sure about her maiden name and couldn’t find anything on it. I think I see the connection you’re talking about. A CEO from the 1920’s had a daughter who married off to a Friedman, but I think that’s a different branch of the family tree, an extension by marriage I believe.
As I said, I doubt anything will come of it, but it was a cool interaction and totally random. Encounters like this makes the world feel pretty small at times.

Hey guys I got rejected UCLA business econ, but got accepted UCI Paul Merage for Business Admin. Getting rejected from LA weigh on CAL? I’m kind of worried, because CAL is my top choice. I don’t mind getting rejected from LA.
@wtb2525 There are thousands of applicants to each school and they don’t know or care what one school does with a particular applicant. They are completely separate from one another. In other words, Cal won’t know if you got denied at UCLA. And if they did, they wouldn’t care.
