<p>So I heard that UCB and UCLA offer to apply to the schools with music. I know a a couple people who have applied to the undergrad UCLA ethniomusicology program so I am well-aware on how to do that. However, for UCB i dont understand it very much so i was wondering if someone could help. </p>

<p>For ucla, to apply you must keep it as a major and i heard its extremely hard to switch majors. Is it the same for UCB? or can i apply undecided, but apply with that as my minor? and will that make the admissions for me easier? </p>

<p>I would be very surprised, for exactly the reason listed above. The music program is small and largely unheard-of…again, for the reason listed above.</p>
