How is the dorm life as a junior transfer? Do you recommend any specific buildings (Unit 1, Foothill, etc)?

Thanks!

(I will be transferring to UC Berkeley in the Fall and am leaning towards campus housing.)

I say Wada so that you can have your own common space like living room, bathroom, and kitchen. And the contract is for two semesters instead of a year long apartment lease so you will not have to worry about paying rent over the summer. Also, it is sound proof pretty well so you will not hear the people above you.

Dorm life is pretty chill for a junior transfer in my opinion, not a lot of people as juniors participate in events that the units have but that depends on which unit you are in. Some units are more “sociable” than others.
