Which classes should IB Major take as a freshman??
and which math is recommended or easier?? Math 10a or Math 1a??

[Freshman Admits to Cal | Integrative Biology](Freshman Admits to Cal | Integrative Biology) has some suggested four year plans.

The three courses for the major you can take without college-level prerequisites are:
- Chemistry 1A/1AL (prerequisite: high school chemistry) or 4A (prerequisite: high school chemistry, high school physics, calculus (may be concurrent))
- Math 10A or 1A (prerequisite: high school math that prepares you for calculus)
- Biology 1B
However, probably most students take only one or two of the above as first semester frosh.

Math 10A-10B is more applicable to biology majors, but you may have to take Math 1A-1B if you are also considering other majors that do not accept Math 10A-10B.

The rest of your schedule can include reading and composition (if needed) and/or breadth courses.

Math 10a is marginally easier, but neither are pushovers.
