<p>I just heard from my friend that UC berkeley is not going to take transfer students in Econ major for next 3years...Is it right?</p>

<p>But it's bad news cause everyone will start storming to UCLA, which already has like 3.86 average gpa for the major.</p>

<p>Man, I hope that isn't true, what's your source? I'm gonna be applying to Berk, L A and SD in econ so I'm really interested in this. Major is already competitive enough as it is, hopefully it's not true.</p>

<p>Yeah--so if you have real evidence to bring to the table then feel free to do so. Comments such as "Hm, not sure!" or "that better not be true, ah!" are inappropriate and serve to create misplaced doubt; they certainly don't lead to answering any questions.</p>
