i am currently a freshman and taking quantitative analysis at Dean College in Massachusetts and will be taking statistics next semester. The Berkeley transfer requirement for Haas requires 1 semester of calculus but i heard that quantitative analysis can sometimes transfer as a "calculus for business". does anyone know anything about this?

I'd say the safest would be to take Calc I.. it's not that hard anyways...

I'm also going to be applying for Fall '08 to Haas

true. I'm actually only a freshman so i need 60 credits to transfer so I'd be applying for fall 09 or spring 08 if they accept transfers for that time since I'm trying to get my Associates in a year and a half

I don't think they accept Spring Transfers.. I could be wrong tho..

Why do you want an AA? I think it's useless if you are going to continue studying for a Bachelor's.

AA is useless, and UCB doesn't accept spring applicants.

well i think at the end of 60 units with a certain curriculum its an automatic associates. it probably doesn't make much difference though.

they do not accept business calc...
but since ur from out of state... no clue then
nope they only accept fall transfers

Just take Calc I.. in my opinion is very important.. it gets you thinking and gets your analytical skills working...
