Typical rhetoric. Yeah, I’m sure you’ll get a lot more attention at JHU as a biomedical engineer when everyone and their brother is majoring in it and trying to get into med school. LOL!

<p>I’m pretty sure that at JHU people have to apply into BME when they apply to JHU, so it is somehow restricted. I don’t think it’s something just anybody at JHU can major in. </p>

• Students wishing to enroll in the biomedical engineering (BME) major should note this important policy: BME must be selected as a first-choice major on this application; BME cannot be selected as a second-choice major in the space above. Students are admitted specifically into the BME major based on evaluation of credentials and space available. No separate application is required. Notification of acceptance into the BME major is given at the time of decision notification and students can be admitted to the university without acceptance to the BME major.
