UC Berkeley or UC San Diego

Hello,

I am very conflicted as to which school i should go to and I need some advice as to which one i should go to. I am still deciding between cognitive science and biology as a major but i am 100% sure that i want to go to medical school. Both schools are giving me a lot of money and money isn’t an issue for both options. Ive visited both places and i like the san diego vibe better but is that something worth giving up for the prestige of berkeley? I NEED MAJOR HELP!!

Don’t worry about prestige. You and everyone else at Berkeley will be competing for med school but that doesn’t make much of a difference. Go to UCSD where you like the city, and can get a high GPA and eventually a MCAT score there!
