UC Berkeley or UCLA - Mechanical Engineering

<p>Currently trying to decide between attending UC Berkeley or UCLA as a transfer student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I'm aware that UC Berkeley ranks higher. Prestige aside, I'm more curious about overall student experiences at either of these campuses,
i.e. class sizes, faculty availability, student body relationships (supportive or malicious), hands-on experience, internship opportunities, extra undisclosed fees and expenses, general well-being.</p>

<p>Instead of bashing each other's schools, I'd appreciate it if we keep it to personal experiences at either institution! Thank you :)</p>
