Has anyone participated in the Perception Science Internship (http://www.perceptionscienceinternship.com/)? It seems to be fairly new (it started last year) and I was wondering if I should apply and if it’s worth the $5,500 cost?

Eek. The internship seems cool, but it’s also absurdly expensive for a day program. especially one that’s only 4 weeks long. I would hesitate at paying that much for a residential program that long.
I’m considering applying for this. What do you guys think?
Hi! I applied and got in, except I didn’t end up attending. Although I’m sure it’s a great research opportunity (I visited the research lab and everyone seemed really nice!) I was informed that you wouldn’t be able to get an independent research project out of this, although there’s a slim chance for publication.
