<p>I just recieved an email from UCB:</p>

<p>Congratulations!</p>

<p>On behalf of the faculty at UC Berkeley, I am pleased to notify you of your candidacy for the Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarship. This award is the most prestigious offered to entering undergraduates by Calone of the world’s premier learning and research universities. Benefits include a monetary award, priority registration, guaranteed on-campus housing, research fellowship, a Faculty Sponsor, membership in the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholar's Association, and financial aid advising.</p>

<p>It went on some more about the scholarship and such. I know that this means that I am in the running for the scholarship which is super exciting, but does this also mean that I am in at Berkely? If it does then I want to celebrate haha</p>

<p>I just (last night) received this e-mail too, rahuja! I was so surprised, especially since I didn’t get Regents for UCLA. If this definitely means guaranteed acceptance, I am ecstatic! :)</p>

<p>I saw the link but my son won’t be home for a few hours. From snooping on the website, it looks like they interview at UCLA and UCB. We are in L.A. but I am hoping to find a day he can interview at UCB so he can see the campus.</p>

<p>Thanks. My son does not want to go back and forth to Berkeley for a one day visit midweek. We have set up the interview in L.A. at a downtown hotel. The L.A. interviews are mid-March.</p>

<p>Hmm just wondering, does anyone’s link for the Overnight Host Program (OHP) at Cal work? Whenever I try to click the link it tells me that the website has a redirect loop.</p>

<p>Edit: Nevermind, it seems to work for me now.</p>

<p>@caiacs did you still get notified that you were a RC scholar in february like everyone else? or… did you get notified in March when you actually won?</p>

<p>I only got notified when I won, but I was out of state, so I’m guessing that was the reason (no Berkeley alumni in my area).</p>
