UC Berkeley spanish majors?

I am interested in cal as a spanish major!
Just wondering, is anybody on this board there for this major? IF so, how do you like it?
Is it easier to get into this major than others? I'm not choosing this to switch out of it, I truly have a passion for languages but I didn't know if this was impacted (or what the acceptance rates/standards were for it either.)

Thanks!

i would make a comment about how ironic it is that you’re apply as a Spanish major with such terrible your English but I’ll just say this:

Check this [Profile of Admitted Transfer Students, Fall 2009 - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_tr/Tr_Prof09.htm)

it’s ucla’s rates of admission for each major, average GPA, unit count, ect… for applicants, acceptances, and rejections. UC Berkeley has no such thing but the general consensus is that besides a few majors, the numbers are very similar.

what are you talking about!? I’m a native english speaker…lol

took your advice and they didn’t know :frowning:
I went on the UC Statfinder, also, and it helped a good amount, b/c it had the category of who applied and who was admitted for “foreign languages/lit/linguistics.” However, that’s a little too broad lol. That includes like 10 diff. majors/submajors.

Oh well I guess if I want t oknow I could just wait til april, but I just want to know if I’m wasting money by applying, you know?

bummmmpppp ^^^^ :)

anybody at all? :P
