<p>It said that I need to respond back to the decision by June 1.</p>

<p>I don't want to say no to the offer, but I want to attend another university in the meantime and see how I like it there.</p>

<p>Is there any way of "keeping" their offer in case I want it, while also attending the other university?</p>

<p>Basically, this other university is my main woman, and Berkeley is the girl on the side. I want to keep Berkeley there in case something goes wrong here.</p>

<p>Well, you can only SIR to one UC. So, if it’s another UC then no. If it’s another 4 year that’s not another UC then possibly but you’ll have to contact your admission officer and get permission first. 2 year school will be fine, but you’ll still need to let Cal know what’s going on.</p>
