Hey, I’m currently a student at UC Merced. I need to take a class equivalent to CHEM 008 (Principles of Organic Chemistry w/lab) and I was looking into UCB’s summer classes but I don’t know which course would be considered equivalent to UC Merced’s.
Chem 3a (3al for lab) is the first of the two part sequence; Chem 3b (3bl) is the second.
Check with your major department at Merced about whether you can take 3A/3AL (which is for biology majors and pre-meds) or need to take 112A (which is for chemistry and chemical engineering majors) for it to be accepted for your major.
