Ohmygod. What was I thinking--I deleted my questionnaire since it was in spam. I permanently deleted it. I just emailed them asking for another one but I don't know if it will work. Any advice???? IM panicking!

^ Try logging onto myBerkeleyApp. It might be on there.

yeah if you got the e-mail it will show up on your myBerkeleyApp. Log in and check

Did u guys write a lot answering the questionnaire? i think i went overboard answering all those questions.... do u think this will hurt my chances?

Ohh ok thanks so much :)

disaster as long as your answers weren't all over the place, detail is good, no worries.

omg, i checked my email today. Havnt done so in so long. and there were around 5 emails from uc berkeley telling me about the freshmen questionnaire as well as the letter of recommendation. turns out it was sent on january 26 and they wanted it turned in in the next 10 days. and well, 10 days has passed! but wen i went to the uc berkeley site, its still there, should i do it or no?

Yes, absolutely turn it in! Call admissions and tell them to expect it. Explain you just saw it in your email inbox or you would have responded sooner.

thanks bessie!

kikii, i got the one about family circumstances and whatnot.
Also, I can still see my questionare too. They say on the site something like "you may make changes after the deadline, but they do not guarantee that they will see the changes" or something along those lines. Hope this helps.
And
I guess I wrote a lot because I had a lot to say? I wasn't paying attention to word counts. They didnt specify a limit, so I just wrote what I believed to be necessary and helpful.

im really confused. i didnt get it but my friend did so im trying to figure out if it means im in the reject pile or accept pile. i have a uc gpa of 4.27, 2140 SAT scores, and decent extracurriculars. i am also ELC. she has a 2180 sat, 3.9 uc gpa, and good extracurrics. what does this mean?

Katelyn, are you and your friend in-state or out of state applicants?

ooops, just read that you are ELC. Since you didn't get a questionnaire (and you are ELC) i assume you have a decent shot at Berkeley, at least better than what your frien'ds was unless she fills out the questionnaire and it helps her a lot.

wow im just reading this now, (referring to page 2)
and to bluebayou, I highly doubt I am close to a shoe in, because not only am I out of state, I am international, well Canadian.... but thank you for the reassurance.

to asd1asd1, how am being pompous about my stats? I never mentioned them, at all... I said my essays werent as good as the ones for my ivy apps, (as well as NYU, its not like i only applied to Ivys, I applied to a few at home in Canada too).
Also, I'm pretty sure wishing I had received a questionaire because I feel that I'm not good enough is the OPPOSITE of pompous.

anyways, good luck to the rest of you!

Hmmm, I didn't get a supplemental from UCB or UCLA. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Guess I'll see in 1 month.

My stats are about the same as most of the in state students posting on this thread, and I'm out of state. But, I got the talent questionnaire for my fencing, so I really don't know what to think about my chances. This really will be a tense month.

I'm confident about my supplemental questionnaire

for my talents I put:

-Being able to adapt to any setting
-Being able to succeed despite language/social issues
-After seeing injustices I've researched a plan to better health care for Immigrants in the US

And for my hard situation I put:

-Living as a MExican immigrant in America-
-Discrimination
-Being able to succeed despite discrimination
-A desire to improve the lives of Hispanic Immigrants (legal and illegal) while in College

could someone who has read this thread thoroughly give an approximation as to the range of these "borderline" applicants?

I have a 4.0 UC GPA, attend a top private school in my state, 2210 SATs, 800, 770 subject tests, decent EC's, and hopefully decent essays, and was just wondering whether i stood above or below this gray area. I applied to UCLA too and didn't receive any questionnaire.

^ 4.0 UC GPA, top public school, 1970, 750, 730, great EC's and essays. Got one from Cal, but not LA too.

oh, please list if you're in-state or out of state as well. I was out of state btw.
