Hi everyone,

I am an international student applying for transfer next fall 2014 to UC Berkeley as an econ major. I am very very stress out and nervous about it so I would like to know your opinion on my chances. Here are my stats...

GPA at CCC : 3.85
Current number of units = 59 but will take 11 more units in the spring
9 units taken P/NP that I all passed
3 W's on transcript

I have 2 B's, one in accounting and one in microeconomics. The reason why I got these 2 B's is because it was my first semester in the US and I took too much units (18) without knowing it would hurt me. I have to admit I didn't think it through at that time.

Regarding the EC, I joined a business club on campus, I did 2 internships in 2 banks plus I have some other interesting things to say in my personal statements that will make them pretty good I think.

Also I started community college at 21, studying in my country for 3 years an unrelated major ,computer science. I don't if it's relevant but I wanted to provide you the info.

I also attended UC Berkeley summer session last summer, taking a 4 unit econ class in which I got an A.

Well guys, I think that's all I have to say so what do you think my chances are to get into Cal !
