UC berkeley transfer class of '10 facebook group

@lomkh: I didn’t go to your high school, but you were good friends with my good friends. BTW: Another person from UCSC uses this account, so that might make it more difficult to answer :P

Hey guys, I joined the group!

Thanks for creating it!

great, a friend’s friend…lol, i’m never gonna figure this out
are you male or female? lol i don’t suppose you’d tell me who the mutual friends are…or where we’ve met before…

Yawn, im so happy I got in!! Not that much more to do here on CC cept occasional questions and stuff. I guess I’ll see you guys either on the facebook page or up at Cal. Are you going to sign up for CalSO?

Are you still considering Davis? Just curious because I was torn between UCLA and Davis but then in the end I couldn’t turn UCLA down… So I am curious what other peoples thoughts were…

bump<<<<<<<<

I’ve also joined the group too you guys. Thanks for creating this facebook page. Have any of you guys decided on what residence halls you will live in at Berkeley yet?

Probably Wada, or Towle in Unit 2

Any spring admits worried about getting housing? I am! :frowning: Someone told me I can find housing at $500 dollars a month somewhere close to campus…I’m sure I’ll be living with 10 other people.

anyone goin to the july 1(th) calSO?

@rahrah203: Yeah I am worried about that actually :(. I’m really kind of clueless about what we’re supposed to do for housing. Additionally, I’m planning on living there in the fall too. Is that possible? I’m hoping to do Extension so that I can take UCB courses as well as CCC courses for the fall, and then become a full-time UCB student in the spring.

@emilsinclair9 I’m checking out the housing website right now. It looks like we have until october 1st to apply for housing. There are so many choices I wouldn’t know which one to apply to and how much it would cost a month. I guess i better call the department.

check this [Living at Cal](http://www.housing.berkeley.edu/livingatcal/springtransfer.html)

I gotta research this more.

I’ve looked into each of the options actually. I’m just not sure about how to go about getting housing lol. I prefer Unit 3 over all others.

Very close to campus/Telegraph. Major draw for me.

co-ed; singles, doubles, and triples.

near Top Dog and Noah’s Bagels (my 2 favorites :D)

near Tolman Hall (I think some psych classes are here).

i thought top dog was near foothill…or is that another hot dog place?

@ lomkh: I don’t know where foothill is. I just know Unit 3 is pretty close to Top Dog. Within a couple of blocks.

nevermind…i just googled it and realized there are 3 of them around the campus haha

I am jyi90.

Anyone else sign up for summer session? I submitted my enrollment and then added classes on telebears…but I haven’t received any sort of confirmation other than telebears showing my status as enrolled. I also emailed my adviser like I was supposed to.

Anywho, it’s exciting to be starting classes  :D

Bump  incase people havent seen this yet

hey emil did you appeal for fall acceptance? and if so did they get back to you yet? I am thinking I might, if not I will do concurrent enrollment from berkeley city college I think, so I can get a stat prereq out of the way at cal and get use to living up there~
