<p>My GPA is 3.84 but I doubt i’ll have the best chance. I’d say you on the other hand are probably exactly what they’re looking for, so don’t sweat it!</p>

<p>So I felt pretty confident with a 4.0, completing my IGETC, and completing all of my prerequisites, but after looking at the 2012 thread, I have no idea! How are you all feeling?</p>
<p>It’s so hard to tell! That sounds like a strong contender but you never can tell…</p>
<p>@Norcaler yeah it certainly is I’m sure haha! Uhm as for EC’s nothing spectacular I volunteered as a soccer coach at my local high school and I’ve worked since I began high school. I usually write pretty good essays but didn’t have them checked and so on so probably nothing that will impress them greatly. Like I’ve said though I know I have the tiniest of chances and if I don’t get in UCSC is straight beautiful. </p>
<p>The only thing i really have going is that my GPA is higher than the average admit, but yeah. </p>

<p>To be honest part of me hopes I’m rejected. From what I hear from friends it’s not a great college experience but if I was accepted I’d want to go because well, it’s Berkeley.</p>

<p>I got into SB and SC, and I’ve had my heart set on SC since I began CC but SB is nice as well so I think we will both be happy regardless of whether we end up at berk!</p>
<p>Agreed. I know plenty of people who have turned down Berkeley for other UC’s and they don’t regret it a bit. Seems like a pretentious, overrated school to me. Good luck either way, mate.</p>
<p>Same here JeanMark. I’m a CC transfer that’s been accepted by UCSB, UCSD and waiting for Cal decision - 3.8 Film studies as well. I will def’ choose Cal over the others but if not Cal I’ll sure SIR UCSB.</p>

<p>I have some ECs, including working as a tutor for the school and a semester long internship, but it seems like some people actually make a difference in the world and I haven’t done anything close to that caliber. </p>

<p>Any Psyc majors applied to Cal?
I’m from a CCC with a 3.84 GPA for psyc.
Went to CalDay yesterday; fell in love with the campus, the people, the area, everything about it.
Super nervous about decisions…any other psyc majors out there? GIVE ME SOME PEACE OF MIND knowing there are and in my same position!!</p>
