Hi, I'm having trouble finding the classes that UC Berkeley requires you to have taken in order to be eligible for transfer. I know that I've seen them before, so I don't know why I'm having trouble now haha.

If anybody could either post them on here, or post the link to where it shows them on their website I'd greatly appreciate it!

thanks for PMing me and calling me a ■■■■■■ when i tried to help you out. Assist.org has the requirements for every UC whether it be transfer eligibility or major prerequisites or breadth requirements. But hopefully you never end up at berkeley because you couldn’t even figure that out.

Coming from a CSU, Assist.org hasn’t proved very useful because there’s no articulation agreement with my CSU. You’re right though, Assist.org does provide a basic course requirement for all UC’s.

However, merely posting “Assist.org” is not a gesture of friendliness nor a good natured attempt to help, because you can safely assume that anybody who’s spent any time looking at transferring has come across Assist.org.

If you were truly trying to help as you claim you would’ve taken the few moments that it takes to be a little more helpful than posting a general website in an undeniably smart-ass way.

And yes, I did message you because I felt like expressing what I thought. However, at least I had the class to do so via a private message, rather than on a forum meant for useful replies. Thank you for keeping information where it’s supposed to be, and stupid conversations where they’re supposed to be… oh wait… nevermind

where in your beginning question did you ever state that you were coming from a CSU? The obvious answer for anybody asking such a question is to post assist.org. I think that instead of insulting somebody and telling them “If you were truly trying to help…” you should do your own research and look through the hundreds of threads on here that probably already answer your question, or, knock yourself out and try Google

I would probabaly consult a counselor. Counselors are paid to inform and assist students in situations such as this. We on college confidential are not trained and paid to do this. Posts on college confidential are also not 100% reliable. You are asking the wrong people.

the reason i choose UC Davis over UCSD: the type of people in So Cal. can’t stand’em. go ahead say what u want, im not getting in an online argument that leads to nowhere. u bash on someone who was trying to help you, u ever think that maybe thats all the info that person had to help your out?

Try going on assist.org and choose Mesa/City/Miramar colleges and to see relevant classes at Berkeley with your major. Then, change it to San Diego State University with one of those community colleges – Compare those classes, it should give you an idea of which classes state offers that Berkeley requires.
