I just spent a little while catching up too…

I’m starting to believe that as long as you have a calnet id and bconnected account, your name will show on the group. My name took a while to show up on the group. I kept having to stroll around for 30 minutes until it popped up. Not 100% sure though.

@flaminhaute good timing

@viviantong

How long after creating your bconnected account did it take for you to show up in groups?

Of those who can access their groups on calnet, who has the “attribute unknown” message?

@doglover95 He’s a freshman admit, but I figure, all undergrads inter the same groups

@flaminhaute Not you too! lol, but I found some interesting info. I’ll share in a sec when when I can make another post -_-

@Sanla124 meeee

@Sanla124 @flaminhaute

I also have the attribute unknown message

@flaminhaute Good luck today!

I have that, its dated 3/31 @Sanla124

@doglover95

Actually I think that your bconnected account is your berkeley.edu account (correct me if I’m wrong?) I linked my calcentral with my bconnected a couple hours before we started checking groups. Which is why I am not super sure on what I think…

HERE WE GOOOOOOOO

So I looked up attributes on calnet, and it = OU

On another page of the calnet site it says: “CalNet pulls data for graduate and undergraduate students into LDAP when students are admitted and before they have returned their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). These records are held in a “pre-SIR” container in LDAP until students have returned the SIR. For more information, please visit the PreSIR OU page.”

So maybe OU = presir = accepted?

yay for theories :))

Not sure tho guys so don’t freak lol

@Sanla124 Where did you find the attributes? CalGroup?

@thecolorblue thanks you too! Let’s give our parents something to brag about to the other aunties/uncles

@flaminhaute haha seriously
