@blueraccoon13 That’s awesome, I think you’ll be fine with your 3.8 for Environmental Econ. I applied to CNR as a Society and Environmental Science major - I have a 3.7 gpa
Same here. 4 addresses, 2 with zip+4. No alumni scholarship email. GPA 3.95. Major Cog. Sci. (L&S) Last name starting with S.
Berkeley admission on twitter regarding the addresses on the portal - bit (dot) ly/2JluqYu
I can’t post the direct link.
@DmelanogasterAE I went to that link and put in my MAP info; it successfully let me log in :-? Has anyone else given it a try??
What is the trick supposed to be with the addresses? I have 4 also
@Sanla124 1. That baby is so cute! 2. Have you taken classes at Berkeley before or are you registered for the summer session
@flaminhaute Thank you! Although that pic was 4 years ago, he’s still my baby
I had an internship with Berkeley last summer and they gave me 3 units during the internship as well. I also know my Berkeley.edu email was set to expire within the next month, because I was no longer affiliated with them, but I received an email saying that my “affiliation with UC Berkeley has been re-instated”
hey guys i was just driving by ucb campus dropping a friend off and a rock hit my windshield and cracked it so i think that is a sign i am rejected gonna crash my car love u all its been a gr8 ride see some of u in hell xoxo
@lunavieja Not just money, although that is a huge reason why people go to CC, but also the frontal lobe in your brain, the parts responsible for impulse control and planning ahead, aren’t fully developed until your early-mid twenties. Some people develop faster than others, while others are late bloomers in this aspect, which leads to some individuals who aren’t motivated and make poor decisions in HS. It’s not cuz they’re not competent, but rather they have yet to mature physically. Entitlement is definitely a hell of a drug. But in a way, I kinda understand where those entitled Cal students are coming from. I always try to look at things from multiple perspectives. We all know getting into the premier UCs from HS is, in general, more difficult than transferring from a CCC. So from their POV, they busted their butts like crazy to get into Cal, and then in a couple years, they see a student attending there, who was a very poor student in HS and didn’t put in a quarter of the effort they had put in. Of course, we only see results, and what those people aren’t aware of all the change that the transfer CC student went through, and how much work they put in when they were in junior college. But those students who got into Cal from HS want to keep their sense of validation, and hence they talk trash on CC transfers.
Sooo who else is caving in and making a summer session account? I don’t want to be crazy alone lol.
@flaminhaute i already caved in on the myucla trick so might as well cheat with berkeley too #imwithu
@lovela omg what’s that UCLA trick? also yes I’m here for the solidarity
do you guys still have 4 addresses? For the people that did have it, did your guys’ addresses ever switch back to too? I just logged into CC so I didn’t see this whole 4 address craze until today
@Ohm888 Please if you could give us your input on this whole 2 to 4 address craze.
While I’m still convinced this means nothing, my four addresses switched back to two
@flaminhaute me as well
@ericbadmon mine just switched back to two… I had the 2-4-2 pattern that everyone has been talking about all day! still not exactly sure what it means or what it could be a sign for but I’m hoping it’s something good crosses fingers
@ericbadmon Haha I have no idea. I haven’t been reading about it.
Just tried but still 4 addresses.
Mine went to two today as well. Was 4 prior to yesterday.
