<p>Hi, guys. I'm currently attending El camino community college and I'm quite nervous for my admission to UC Berkeley so I want to ask for your opinions whether or not my chances are good. Here are my info:</p>

GPA: 3.8
Pre-requisites: IGETC, most major prep
EC: MESA</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good chance. Your gpa is right there. Are you going to finish all your preq's before you transfer? I had a friend who was also a cs major and got into berkeley with a 3.6 with 2 or 3 prereq's missing. He was also an international student.</p>

by the way, i'm in a similar situation but i'm a math major with a slightly higher gpa</p>

<p>nothing's ever safe for an elite school even though cal is by no means super selective like private schools are.</p>
