UC Berkeley vs. Mccombs

I like many of you have come to a fork...

I got into UC Berkeley for my major of Pre-business on the pathway to Haas business school hopefully (most ppl from this major get in right?)

I also got into McCombs at UT austin as i am a texas resident

but i am torn between the two..what are the pros and cons of each ie, academics, sports, lifestyle, girls, housing... LEMME KNOW!

r u doing bhp?

Girls at UT are going to be better, since your going to the hardest UC school to get into, I am not too familiar with the Berkley school of business, but it probably is pretty good, either way, I think we could consider those equal for the time being(Ut is rated slightly higher, but w/e). Housing is ok at UT, there are polar opposite dorms, they are generally really good or bad, unless you go to a honors dorm. Sports obviously UT, both UT sports, as well as inter mural. UT has a huge student population, many of which wanted to go to UT but couldn't make the school team, so they play pretty competitively with the rest of the school.

And as a texas resident UT will save you about 30 grand a year.

IF you lived in Cali, I would probably go with UC, but you should get a kick ass experience at UT.

UT is a lot more laidback and fun, while Berkeley (esp. Haas) has more of a cutthroat lets study all the time environment. Take your pick. Haas is, without a doubt, the better business school though.
