UC Berkeley vs Virginia vs UPenn vs Cornell

I think these schools have similar reputation, selectivity, student quality, etc...

which one is better ?

U Penn Wharton For Business/////Cornell For Engineering. Wharton is the most selective out of the list you have gave. U Penn is not as selective at all as Wharton-Subset Program In the School.

These schools all have different "feels" and this is the most important thing.

Berkeley = tops for engineering, sciences, top-flight faculty across all fields, urban environment, large state school, reputation for liberal student body and sort of hippieish milieu, in beautiful Northern California. Intense academically, not so collegial.

Cornell = Quality issues mentioned above for Berkeley basically the same, except smaller student body (though large for Ivy League), less liberal student body, and it's in the middle of nowhere

Penn = Much more conservative, large student body for private Ivy League, urban campus. As the person said, think business, though Berkeley has a solid (not as good as Wharton, though) undergrad business program and I believe UVA does.

VA = country clubbish, suburban environment. Intense, but probably more collegial than Berkeley

This is just a start: people should add in more adjectives.

Penn as a whole is a notch above the other schools listed--at the undergraduate level.

Penn's a great school, no doubt. It depends on the program as to whether it's a notch above. Berkeley, and Cornell for that matter, are superior in engineering for instance. No one's got anything on Wharton. Cornell, architecture. Etc.

youre all wrong

i just found out BU has a Howard Stern Scholarship

I know declare BU the best school in the universe

I hate Howard Stern. He is awful in comparison to the likes of O+A.

Cant hear you, too busy applying for BU transfer
