Did anyone call admissions or plan on calling them today?
For those who were admitted, have you been able to access your Golden Bear Advising? The deadline to complete is tomorrow, and while I see the task on Cal Central, I can’t access it on Canvas.

No! My friend and I were able to get in, but it’s empty and literally says on the top “Welcome to Canvas! You don’t have any courses, so this page won’t be very exciting for now. Once you’ve created or signed up for courses, you’ll start to see conversations from all of your classes.”
Also, have you had any luck in updating your Immunization/TB Screening stuff? The e-Tang website is telling me “We apologize, but we were unable to locate your record. Please contact University Health Services.”
I think that this is just happening to waitlisted students.
@DMelanogaster I have the same message on my Canvas as well. I called New Student Services about it, and they said that it should update within the next 5-6 days. Naturally, since the deadline is tomorrow, I was a bit a worried, but the person I spoke to said it’s a soft deadline. As long as we complete it when it comes up, we’ll be able speak with our advisors and enroll on July 10th.
Also, I was able to access the Immuniziation/TB portal. I just logged into e-Tang using my CalNet ID. Sometimes, the portal doesn’t open up. They recommend using an incognito window, and when I did that, it worked fine.

Oh! Let me try that right now! Thanks for letting me know about the soft deadline. I’ll let my friends know about that too because she and I have been stressing lol. Are you planning to live on or off campus because the next thing I started worrying about is housing…
My twin brother got accepted with the rest of the un-waitlisted people on April 28 and he told me that apparently the way they do the housing is based on a lottery system. With that in mind, I e-mailed the housing people and asked them if we waitlisted transfers have any disadvantage because of how late into the month we got in. I have yet to hear back.
For Golden Bear Advising for L&S, I’m not seeing anything on the canvas page. Is there anything i’m supposed to be seeing?
Does anyone know if their releasing more decisions today?

In regards to housing, I called them yesterday about the process and chances of getting a space. They told me that since we heard back quite late, they cannot guarantee anything They did recommend still completing the housing app & selecting “Any choice, any location” to get your name on the list. I completed my housing app yesterday but haven’t received any offers yet. I am seriously looking at off-campus housing to ensure I have a place this Fall.
