<p>Also, can someone please tell what the average number of waitlist people???? and what percentage of those waitlist get accepted??</p>
<p>The common data sets, section C2, indicate that Berkeley started using waitlists for fall 2010 admissions. The numbers listed each year appear to be around 100, with either all or none being admitted from the wait list (presumably they will admit the waitlisted students if yield is lower than expected that year).</p>

<p>WL stats can veer widely year to year. Mining them for predictive ability is a fool’s errand, I would say.</p>
