<p>you have good extra curriculars. and nice SAT! UCB is hard to get into. you need to raise up your GPA. but then again... your SAT scores are going to be a "WOW!!" to them.</p>
<p>I'd say reach/slight reach... depending on how heavily UCB weighs in your GPA. Your SAT is AMAZING but your GPA is a lot lower than the average Berkeley GPA of 4.2 (?). Your extracurriculars will help too.</p>
<p>You deffiantly got a good shot with that high SAT. Congrats on that. I wanna call Berkeley a match for you, but your GPA is just low enough that it could go either way. UC's weigh GPA's quite heavilly. Id say Berkeley is likely a slight reach. But you deff got a good shot. Best of luck!</p>

Here is the statistics from school counselor for D's high school. For UCB, Acceptances = 96, Average GPA= 4.26, Average SAT=2184, GPA Range=4.55-3.46, SAT range=2400-1670.
D's high school is one of the tops in this county that explains the high number of acceptances out of 500+.</p>
