UC Berkley Chances? Or any of the UC schools really....

I'm a decent student from a small town in Nebraska wondering my chances at a good UC School like Berkley. Here's what I'm rocking

SAT- 2320 in a single setting (750 Reading, 790 Math, 780 Writing), 2350 if super scored
SAT II- 760-Bio E, 770- Math 2, 750- U.S History, Bio M 730
ACT- 35 Composite (36 English, 35 Math, 34 Reading, 36 Science)
AP- 5's- US History, Language and Composition, World History
4's- Biology, Calc AB
3's- Calc BC (not reporting)
PSAT- 221

GPA (3.4 Unweighted, 3.8 weighted) Low I know ;( but Upward trend

I have also taken several courses through Cornell University Summer College obtaining a College transcript GPA of 4.00

I take a very competitive schedule, especially compared to my local peers, with my current year line up including AP Stat, AP Literature, AP Psych, AP Govt. and Politics, and AP Chem

I'm also currently waiting on scores for SAT II's in Chemistry and Biology M
Extra Curriculars

You guys know better than me, do I have a shot?

How large is your upward trend? Calculate your capped UC GPA. <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/</a>.</p>

Do not count 9th grade courses or before. If you took a class over the summer before 10th grade, count that. You are out of state, so only AP classes are weighted. At most, only 8 semesters of AP courses can be counted as weighted. No more than four weighted semesters can be counted from 10th grade.

1) Can you pay the $55K/year price tag for any of the UC’s??? No financial aid for OOS students.

2) SAT score is competitive for UCB/UCLA/UCSD but GPA is not. If you can pay, look into UCI/UCD and UCSB where you would have a better chance if your UC GPA ends up below a 4.0. If your UC GPA is above 4.0, you have decent chances at UCB/UCLA and UCSD.

Why UC? You have many options. Are you also Native American (UC doesn’t care, but others may give you a boost)? You are an excellent student, not just decent. Good luck! What major are you considering (is it impacted)?

With the Native American hook why don’t you apply to private schools. Why UCs?

UC’s will be very expensive and your GPA will adversely affect your admissions chances. ^^^^^I agree, why UC’s?

Not Native American hahaha other kind of Indian although I can see how that may be confusing. I can afford the UC school completely, I don’t want to sound like a dick but money really isn’t a problem. If you don’t count Freshman year GPA jumps up quite a bit. Just trying to get into the best schools possible, thanks!

The UCs value GPA much more than test scores. It would be very helpful if you post your capped UC GPA (the calculator is in a previous post). Without it, chancing you would not be easy. Here are my stats and my results.

3.66 unweighted, 4.29 weighted, 4.00 capped UC GPA. 2300 SAT score. Intended major was civil engineering for UC Davis and computer science for the other schools. Rejected by UCB, UCLA, UCSD, and CPSLO. Waitlisted by UCD and UCI. Accepted by the other UCs and Cal States that I applied to.

When recalculated with the UC GPA it jumps to 3.81
