I am a senior and looking into going to a UC school or cal poly slo. I wanted to know if anyone here has information on which UC's have good business/econ programs for undergrads. I know/believe that UC Berkeley is the best but as everyone knows, it is extremely difficult to get into. Also i wanted to know what you guys think of my chances of getting into the UC schools with mediocre numbers like 3.9 gpa and 1850 SAT. </p>

<p>stats are not so promising for la and cal unless you are coming from really tough school..but good chance at the rest</p>
<p>other than Cal, UCR is I believe the only UC that offers a BA in business. You might have the stats to get a scholarship, though on the low side. Other than that, Id check your stats against the UCSD formula and see how u would do.</p>
<p>UC Irvine just introduced a business program, so you might want to check it out. </p>
<p>And you might want to look into San Diego State. It's business program is better than Cal Poly's.</p>
<p>umm, well cal is definitely the best.
Even try econ programs at top UCs (UCLA, UCB, and UCSD)
Other UCs likely have better econ than SLO.</p>
<p>And if ur goin to any UC besides UCR,UCM, or UCSC than it should be better name recognition if u plan on leaving california.</p>
