I went to UC Riverside for my first year and the first quarter of my 2nd year. I started my first semester at a community college and was wondering if I would still be able to get TAG certified.

Some of the requirements I read were 2 semesters at a community college, which I will have if I stay another year at community college but I'll be working on my 2nd semester by the time I'm registering for TAG.

My question is, will I be eligible for TAG or not?

It also depends on the amount of units you have taken.

See page 2. You should be able to figure out your eligibility based on the matrix above. If you have doubts, make an appointment with your CC counselor and ask them! I caution you, however, to be skeptical of whatever they tell you. Most of the time they end up being wrong.

That’s a good referral thanks. I do have a question though, during the filing period do I have to have the stuff done or can it be finished AFTER the filing period?

Most college allow you to complete required coursework no later than spring prior to transfer, but there are some exceptions and other things to note.

You’ll find that navigating around this website will become your best friend when preparing for transfer! :)
